We don’t accommodate tourers or motorhomes – static caravans only.
No rentals – All static caravans are privately owned and/or for sale.
Site offer letters are prepared in September/October and become due by 31 December prior to the start of the season.
There is a connection charge payable on taking up a pitch and a disconnection charge when vacating a pitch. This charge includes a 16 amp up-rated supply.
Payments can be made by card (fees apply for credit cards), and site rent payments can also be spread and paid by standing order.
When buying a caravan on Newlands we will require a copy of your council tax bill at your home address in your name, in order to prove that you are not wanting to reside in the caravan.
It is not a requirement to insure the caravan through the park policy, but all caravans must be insured.
There is a £35+VAT administrative charge (£42) to any pitch not insured via the site block policy.
Electricity meters are read and any amounts due are invoiced October and January and are payable within 30 days. The rate is that charged by the electricity supplier – as a guide the rate in 2020 was 19p per unit.
Gas bottles are for sale in our shop at recommended prices.
We have a laundry available on-site.
Paving and patios can be laid by our maintenance staff at a small cost – all other services we can put you in contact with the relevant people who can help.
Please be aware in advance that we do not have facilities for children and that you realise to keep them amused will often involve taking them off site. Within walking distance is the beach, the recreation ground in Heacham and many amusement arcades.
Our shop is situated at the entrance to Jennings Caravan Park and aims to provide a range of goods to fulfil all of your needs. It also acts as a collection point for mail for customers on both sites. We stock a variety of food (including a hot food counter), toiletries, newpapers, Lotto, DVD rental, alcohol and cigarettes.
